Singing the Hits From the Movies!

Soundtracks choir was set up by local musician Dr. Nikki Franklin, who is passionate about bringing people together to make music at all levels of experience.

Nikki will teach you bespoke arrangements of your favourite songs from the movies. All learning will be by ear, with online recordings provided so that you can practice your parts at home.

The heart of this choir is for you to sing songs you love in a group setting, with a bit of a giggle along the way!

Every Monday evening we will meet at the Refectory in the Annexe at St. John’s Church, inviting you for an optional pre-choir ‘hang’ from 7 to 7.30pm, when it is ‘baton down’ and we will sing through to 9pm. We also head to the pub for a post rehearsal drink once a month, to which everyone is invited (but not obliged!)

ABOUT NIKKI

Nikki has been a professional musician all of her adult life, a highly experienced pianist, vocalist, composer and arranger. She moved to Redhill in 2018, running a local teaching practice and is delighted that she is now in a position to pick up the baton and bring the local community together to sing songs they know and love. Nikki will guide you through your harmonies to re-create your favourite songs as part of this exciting new choir, preparing to get out and perform with a professional rhythm section as soon as we are match fit!
